Tough Choice 1 (cont’d)

Time is the most vital reason of ultimate importance in the choices we make, because when we think about how our creator created the earth. He went on a timed schedule, according to the bible it took God approximately seven days to do all the marvelous things we are surrounded by, from the sky to the ground and in between.

He saw the earth as a mass body of unrefined elements and particles, so He then through word of mouth as He acted on it, re-organized the earth step by step. He made choices for His most valuable creation that He made in His image mankind, above all other creation in existence He gave man authority to rule over it all. But mans greed for curiosity beginning with the disobedience in eating the forbidden fruit as well as justification of sin in utter insolence to God, has caused us all in life, a great deal of loss in the benefits of God’s blessings and continual favor and mysteries in His wonders without hardship. Being as merciful as our creator in Heaven is, He still showers us in His infinite mercies and love.

God knew why He let some things happen to us, because every day we get the chance to see a brand new day is a gift to us all. I would love to look at life this way; our creator God in Heaven is the Chief Farmer, while we are His workers each given a seed to plant and watch over, nurture, and harvest its yield. God also in His kindness then gives each and every one of us the resources and skills to take care of our seeds, as we have all been given different locations around the world, so that on the day of harvest we will all report back to our Chief Farmer with reports on the harvest and how far we have come to understand why we were given different seeds.
Our seeds are our life, gifts, talents and skills of labor. If we do not nurture our seeds with what is right we in the end will have to live with whatever harvest we yield, in suffering and pain. Unfortunately, we as farmers have to sometimes sell out our harvest for the benefit of survival, meaning if we as farmers only think of ourselves, we may never profit in life and hence be able to survive on the good we have planted.

This will then lead to ungratefulness to our Chief Famer who in His will is for us never to live a life of tragedy and shame bringing reproach to His name. Why as farmers should we sell our harvest? Why can’t we just live with what we yield in harvest and enjoy with our own families? The answer is because we will only limit our Chief Farmer’s ability to aid us to work for something newer and beneficial. Every zone on this earth has its different qualities and characteristics that make the world so beautiful. This world also contains scavengers who don’t like to see anything grow or have life. We have to keep a watchful eye on our crop that we expect good harvest from, otherwise it would be trampled on, stolen or destroyed.

God our creator didn’t just create the seasons for nothing, every season was made to suit all reason. In the season of plenty, there will always be those in lack or need. And for the season of rainfall and snow those in the hot and dry areas travel to dwell for a moment with crops from dry land and sell to those in need of the fundamentals of such crops and vice versa. In keeping our eyes open for the seasons and dangers out there that may destroy our crops, we must be prudent and have a sense of preservation. Greed will never be an excuse as to why we should ever dwell in poverty, we must make use of our cultivation with wisdom, think of the needy and know some day out of season the can be lack. Now back to the real world; as life, talents/gifts and skills are related to the analogy of seeds given to us by God, we should take to consideration that, ever since the fall of man from Gods blossom garden, we all have an expiry date and can and will be replaced. So when we think the life we live is better than others in different respects; education, finances and fame/power, we should not be proud or arrogant, because others who do not have the opportunity, are as seeds thrown in an open field that for some reason the crows of the land have devoured or the canker worms have eaten, meaning some are on this earth as a lesson to others as a reason of circumstance to teach us humility when we have plenty to our satisfaction or as we strive to earn more in life.

I bring to a close on the subject of time, by having our mind understand that there is a time to be joyous celebrate and make merry, as well as a time to go through trials tragedy and be in sorrow, a time to move fast and be hasty for survival work on avoiding loop holes, as well as a time to sit back reflect on life’s past errors, where to go from the point or state we are in, strategize, plan and keep a vigilant eye before we move.

A time to plant and make “hay while the sun shines”… meaning doing what ought to be done in its due time and never procrastinate to avoid irreversible mistakes in life, as well as a time harvest and “eat of the fruit of thy labor”… meaning enjoy or suffer from the deeds of our actions and transfer them to our children, as we watch time repeat itself in our children. Also time to teach one or others, as well as a time to learn from one or others. A time to reap and a time to sow, finally, we all are given the time on earth we have to live and later we shall all die one day but then, what account shall we give back to our creator when we stand in the place of judgment?! Live or die! Victorious or victimized in life! In sickness or in health! To be in total darkness or in His marvelous light for all of eternity?
Your choice!
